My many halloween outfits ... and the cutest hair blow E.V.E.R

It is pumpkin carving time ...

Playing with the pieces

No, dad I want to do it.

Ok fine, you do it.

Look Mom. Look what I did!!!

It's mine, It's all mine. Playtime! I wonder if I can eat it...?

I can touch my toes

In the last few weeks she can now grip her feet. This is how she rolls. Literally. She can FINALLY roll from back to side. She did it about 5 times at about 2 months of age and has never done it again, until recently. We have serious back to side rolling in the crib but she rarely does it out of the crib. We anticipate she will be a late roller, crawler and walker. They say these skills are based on temperment rather than motor development. More mellow babies tend to do these things later. And since she turned about 2 weeks old, when mama finally told the AAP and their pacifier recommendations to take a hike, she has cried hard less than 10 times. I have the world's easiest baby.

Love my rattle ...

She doesn't use it as a rattle. She uses it as a septor and points it at you. I am Queen Inara. All you mere mortals bow down to my superiority. It is hilarious but I cannot get a picture of her doing it!

Sitting like a big girl

Just FYI: blogger sucks - this picture looks way better on my color calibrated monitor.
Inara can now sit up, pretty good for someone who is not even 4 months. She puts her hands down for balance and actually reaches for toys in the sitted position (meaning she is balancing herself with one arm). She can sit *almost* erect (straight up); however, her back muscles just are not quite there yet.

Sears Halloween Portraits

It cannot compare to Lynsday's photo but the whole picture was only $5.
